Packers Open To Signing Vick

With Aaron Rodgers at quarterback, the Green Bay Packers haven’t ruled out signing free agent quarterback Michael Vick. Vick, who is fresh off a 23 month prison sentence, has a list of teams that have expressed interest in the 29 year old run and gun quarterback. Not playing since 2006, Vick looks to be hungry to get back on the field as he threw balls to high schoolers in Virginia Beach yesterday. Continue reading

Running a 4.3 40 yard dash at 6’3″ 235 lbs is amazing, knocking out the incoming receiver and your own cornerback is amazing, for Pete Carroll his strong safety Taylor Mays is amazing. For the past ten years, quarterbacks taken first overall have struggled mightily in their first season. Tim Couch, Eli Manning, David Carr, Jamarcus RussellĀ and Alex Smith just to name a few. For Detroit Lions and former Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford, that is not the case. Stafford scored amazingly well on the Wonderlick test at 32, started all three years at Georgia, and showed he could make every throw that it would take to become an NFL quarterback.
